I just love those old photos. My sister doesn't have any photos of herself as a small child, so she was surprised and thrilled when I ran across this one in a box of my mom's. I often use them to make digital art to decoupage onto 12x12, 6x6, and 4x4 ceramic tiles.

Just LOVE the card, Donna! You did an especially wonderful job creating this one. And I have to confess I'm with you on the curiosity about St. Pat's Day. It is interesting what takes hold in the national, even global consciousness. It's turned into more a commercial holiday than really, I think than anything else. If one is Irish, or with Irish roots, than great to celebrate one's heritage, I'm all for that! But it is funny how things come about... Anyway, have a great weekend ahead ((HUGS))

Thanks so much, Tracy! I can send you a video tutorial if you're interested in trying one, yourself.

I probably don't need to be so stodgy about "fun days" on the calendar. Heaven knows, we all need to get out of our cocoons and join other people just to have a laugh and unwind sometimes, and let those people know they're more important than anything else we could be immersing ourselves in!

what's picturetelling?

  • Sure, a picture is worth a thousand words--but pictures alone are up for interpretation. Story is essential to understanding your pictures! I can show you how to tell your pictures with the stories that bring them to life
